Heyo. Small discussion and a question here based on the current convoy/plunder system.

All in all I enjoy the new system since it doesn't rely on you NEEDING another player to run convoys, thus saving time and a lot of frustration. However, my one big question is why the difference between convoys and plunder rewards is so pronounced. I don't mean the 50/30 disparity. That in my mind isn't actually a terrible balance considering if you lose the fight you get 0 for plunder entirely. However, my big question is why the plunderers get all of their chances for free while convoys only get one. That's honestly where the major disparity comes because for a free player they can only earn 30 cp a day from convoys and thats if they manage to sneak by or have a strong host cover them. However, for paying players and those in the top 50 ranked battle, they can earn a maximum of 150 cp a day for free, literally 5x the amount of convoys. That alone doesn't really make much sense to cover the off chance that they might lose all their fights and get 0 for said day.

Just for the record I ask this solely based on what I feel as one of the top 5 in my server. I myself don't do plunders just because it feels like a * move, especially considering how easy it is to find someone 10k+ power behind you and abuse the crap out of them. Every day there are complaints about both sides of the spectrum. Convoyers getting annoyed that people that much ahead of them can freely beat them down for 3x the rewards they gain, 15 for convoy loss to the 50 for plunder, but at the same time there are plunderers annoyed because people just stopped doing SS convoys because they'd rather take the 100k coins or whatnot over a clear cut loss and only 15 cp. Of course over a months time that 15 turns into a nice 450 for free but that makes the difference even more pronounced as a plunder will net you 4500 if you win them all, a whopping 10x turnout. Of course this is all at the highs and lows of a 30 days period but I think it gets the point across.

Ultimately, what I'm getting at is would it really be that bad to just make all the SS convoys free?
This would make it so even if you lose them all you get something decent out of it in the long run and it makes the entire system more worthwhile for both ends. Better rewards and balancing for F2P or otherwise as convoy and also more opportunities to get daily plunders done for the plunderers. I understand it would have a bit of an impact on the economy of the game but it hardly seems like one so large that it wouldn't be worth doing.

Yeah. I mean that was just a quick suggestion because I do realize it isn't easy to balance an entire system but when the difference in opportunity is that cut and dry you ought to have some second look going on.

In the end it definitely would and it's just like I said. Little things they change would go such a long way. I don't necessarily think you have to punish plunderers more than they are at the moment and you don't have to really make the rewards for convoy any better at all if you just remove the ingot fee for additional runs. The current support system also isn't the most optimal either, albeit I still enjoy this convoy over the original iteration.

Yea but even as a paying player I'm sure many of us started in one game or another as F2P and it's quite easy to see areas of improvement that would clearly benefit both, or in the case of purchasing more SS attempts for convoy, just seem rather pointless to begin with.
