As a free player. Hinata & Sasuke are a Lightning Main's best friends, Hinata becomes quite a tank very easily, and Sasuke exists to carry combos and boost lightning with his barrier, he should never be the focus of a team, just a support.

If you can work towards unlocking Sai through gathering fragments in his elite instance or from the shop then he can do very well for you also working with the rest of your team. I got very lucky when I started and won Sai from my first Survival trial, but you can replace Sai with alot of characters, the key part of your team is Hinata, MC and Sasuke, anyone who can compliment them is simply a bonus.
