Free 2 Play - Sometimes Win On Naruto Online.

In six easy steps.

1: Every single seal scroll you ever get, do not use UNTIL level 70, then use them on the kage chest. Free draws don't always give good things, but they DO HELP.

2: For Ninja's like Guy/Kakashi, and other easily acquired ninja's DO NOT RECRUIT THEM WITH FRAGS. Wait for them to be pulled from the draws. (It's common, and then you have 80 frags towards 4 star ninjas)

3: Save all of your coupons, once you get about 3.8k, that can cover MOST event ninja easily. (e.g Mabui's event, GNW Tenten purchased 3 times (for 3 star tenten = 3600 coupons) (prices will obviously vary depending on the ninja you are after)

4: Hinata will be your best friend early game, focus on getting her upped to at least 4* A-S-A-P, Sasuke works well with her if 3*'d but remember, Sasuke wears paper armor. (I'm being 100% serious, even if you don't want to use her permanently, she c*ways become a staple in a ranked battle team just because of the sheer amount of abuse she can take, she was 5*'d for me before i even started working towards Kakuzu (who is also a solid f2p ninja) and Sasori (who was more because i loved his character).

5: The easiest builds i have found so far for f2p, (You can easily change them out at level 70 DEPENDING ON LUCKY NINJA DRAWS-These builds are merely to help you GET to 70 with minimal hair pulling out)

5a: Queen Build for Breeze Dancer (2-3-1-1-2 with white tiger summon) + Hinata, Kurenai, Karin. (This build works exceptionally well for almost all aspects of game, and will help you easily because of how easy to * the ninjas are, Weakness is after turn 3 if the opponent is still alive-your team will be limited to standard attacks) 8-hit combo

Ku-BD-H
X-X-X
Ka-X-X

5b: Tai Mastery for Crimson Fist (2-3-2-2-2 with Ninja cat summon) with Neji, Guy, Kurenai. (When used correctly this build well * through opponents with heavy tai nuke damage, weakness is you have no healer/debuff) 6-hit combo

X-X-N
K-G-CF
X-X-X

5c: Assassination Squad For Azure Fang
(3-2-3-2-2 with White Snake Summon) with Sasuke, Hinata, Kakashi. (This build will literally bury a single target in debuffs on every turn with fairly high damage, weakness is your AOE output is minimal.) 10-hit combo

S-K-H
X-X-X
AF-X-X

5d: The Curses' Power For Midnight Blade (3-2-3-1-3 with Ninja cat Summon ~8-hit combo~ 3-2-1-1-3 with SERPENT(GOLD) Summon ~10-hit combo~) With Kimimaro, Jugo, Sasuke. (Sasuke's Barrier is more used for boosting the lightning ninja's. Jugo is mostly in a support role boosting the cursed ninja, this build puts out mass dps while barrier is active. weakness is that with no healer or debuffer/jugo is still susceptible to debuffs.)

X-X-X
S-MB-K
X-J-X

5e: Scarlet Blaze. Honestly this is the hardest f2p class to level with, playing this class personally i didn't bother with it until AFTER i hit 70 and got some decent pulls. sorry, but i'd recommend just rolling a different beginner. And before i get the "you just don't know what you are doing" thread. Trust me, i've done it. prior to skill breakthrough i had a good build for it. but now...not so much.

6: Join a small group, the minimum to enter GNW is 12 ninjas doing 6 daily missions a day. If you keep a small group, then the rewards for Great Ninja war's will be spread out among you all better. first place getting 3-4-2, and second getting 2-4-4. etc, so yes even if you don't WIN the GNW, it's worth entering. *As long as the LEADER is trustworthy, and doesn't hoard the highest packs for themselves, the group will be guarentee'd a 10 pack at least once per month, sometimes twice. (That's more of a personal integrity thing then a guide though)

Anyone who has any opinions that differ from my own, by all means share them! ^_^, This is just my personal things i've noticed (and done) that have helped me be a competitive player even while f2p, (2nd Highest power on server. (Yes higher then most Medal holders, and the only one higher than me is a medal holder as well) Currently one of the top 3 Ranked Battle teams (might be able to go higher?? haven't done Ranked Battle in 2 weeks)

And yes as a f2p, odds are you will never have the HIGHEST power. But that's sort of to be expected, that's why the f2p have to have good strats that can keep them competitive ^_~.

Good luck and keep fighting the good fight my fellow f2p~

  • want to be a good f2p player? just play in 1 sv for 3 month and now all things in this game after that play in newest sv and aim for strongest guild, be strong and have good friendship with the leader and get seals every weak :lol
That's not really what the point of my guide was...it was more to help other people who are free to play, and give advice on how to stay competitive.

I won't deny, start on one server to figure out what you want to do, and then move to a new server will definitely help people with a rough idea of what they want to do, that's more work then alot of people are willing to do though. Personally i've done it.

  • Everything looks nice, except you talking about spending coupons on ninjas as f2p ;P

other than that, this looks useful :3
Won't lie, i don't do it often, but i DID make the exception for GNW tenten, to use her in arena and 9t XD

  • I like your guide honestly. I followed some of these slightly even without being f2p. good guide honestly. Only things i disagree even slightly is the teams, but thats really just a opinion not a fact. Plus the teams to use will be based a bit on who your rivals are at your power level, and what they use.

Seriously though good guide. My fav f2p build is probably LM/Kimmimaro/Guy and maybe sasuke to mess up p2ws teams. those teams lose to me..but their annoying :P

Also dont recruit characters until you need them. I think thats a great way to get a free 50-80 frags sometimes.

p.s i have every kage ninja and more but i still like using hinata/kimmimaro for ranked, sometimes even kurenai. so love those ninjas. and guy/kabuto for Strong approaches.

Yep, for the most part, those were builds i'd use for all of the instances, (with the exception of the azure fang build, because that is fun to use as long as you play manual ;:victory:)
