1＃ Go ToNot sure if this suggestion have been brought up before, or will be fiercely contested by other forum members, but here goes.
At the moment, Arena's only stat that matters is Initiative (though we all know there's a 10% element of other stats as well). This initiative is based on the overall initiative of the entire team, and is divided equally to all 4 characters. So its safe to say, the team that takes the field in term of passive barrier, will also be the player that have their characters either do standard attacks or mysteries first in terms of their position (i.e. Passive Barrier team will position 1 will always be faster than No Barrier team position one, and this applies all the way to position 4).
So in this method of Initiative being applied, its pretty much a huge handicap to the No Barrier team. Losing on barrier as well as initiative on ALL 4 characters in play.
Keeping in mind that Initiative is still necessary, the suggestion I have in mind is still keeping the Passive barrier based on the overall initiative of the team. But for individual characters, these initiative should still be ba sed on their inidividual Initiative. So basically same to outside Arena PvP play. This way, it isn't automatically known to the player from the start, before the 1st attack goes in, that Passive Team will have ALL 4 characters doing everything first to their opposite respective counterparts.
Its still possible that the Passive barrier team will still have all 4 characters going first, but it won't be always the case. As we know some players have all their initiative heavily placed on their 1st/2nd Position character, and have terrible initiative for the rest. This suggestion, in my own opinion (and everyone else who would like to chip in to contest, have their opinion as well which will all be duly respected), would make the gameplay slightly, if any, more balanced.

i agree with u on this matter but sadly, i dont think it can be implemented since u cant control what initiative goes to every one of ur ninjas without the equipment being imprelemnted in arena, since ur initiative comes from ur refines/ rune stones which come with the equipment.

I don't see why they can't implement this as equipment with certain initiative is equipped to certain ninjas so their initiative should be able to be per ninja vs team. -

soo..here is what i would like to let u know..im guessing u guys havent been in this situation
..i am using a passive barier ninja kazekage garaa and all my equipments with high iniative is stacked on sage naruto on first position..i've fought a few matches where the passive barrier of the enemy canceled mine..but my sage naruto moves first..well this is because only on naruto has lvl 8 refines while the rest is still lvl 4..but yea..there u go..im guessing that the equipments follow the equipment on ur main team -

Is this in the Arena? I know outside of the Arena its definitely possible, 100% certain, cause I know a few of of my opponents take the field, but 1st move I get it, or even 2-3 out of 4 ninjas (in my server that is), just cause my initiative are spread out, but theirs is concentrate on move 1.
But inside Arena, I have never encounter that situation before. But if you've encountered that situation before in Arena, I guess its possible, though I haven't heard from anyone as that happening, and you might be the 1st. -

Well, i did mention somewhere else where I had 1st move and opponent had 2nd move in arena.
Like him, I stack all my init on my first move char. Thou I'm rather uncertain about how the thing works. -
