Because now - I'm totally lost. First of all, what happend - I was matched with char, which had around 30 - 33 points, while I had just 20 plus losing strike(2 times). He was kage, I jonin. Okey, I check description and found: https://s18.postimg.org/xgv2s4dux/arena1.png Okey similar power.. Difference between us was around 6k.. Not very similar, but ok... P.S. That ninja was my group member from other server. :) But after that, in the evening, I met another char, who had 78-82k BP, while i had around 43k (max with other class 46k).. I might know the answer in terms of the matching between Kage & Jonin part.

There's a high chance that your opponent who is a "Kage" is on such a losing point streak that he maybe "Kage" in rank, but he's lost so many in Kage, that's he's so much into the negative points. So technically he's in Jonin rank, so he will match with Jonin occasionally.

I noticed this when I was in the negative zone during Kage, and was being matched to Special Jonin players, but once I get back out of my negative zone, I match back to my own ranks again.

Nop, not that case. He was on winning strike (he got 2 points after win). :( Futhermore, he got a genin some matches before me... I will ask for 100% to be sure, if he had some minus points, of course after servers come back online. This post was last edited by Hardly at 2017-3-2 15:06

Yeah, it still possible.

Just in case he's like -20 or something. Lol! Then he can still be on a winning streak and get +2, but he's soooooo far into negatives it still matches against you.

Hey

Power Level comment applies inside Arena itself.
Considering that Initiative is the core stat that carries in Arena + Ninja's stars. It'll drive the Power Level upwards. The system itself tries to match players similarly.

As for ranking, It depends on the time matching. If it's not finding you players around your rank+BP, it'll match you outside of those categories so you may find a fight.

JeremyKohBS does hit the nail with his statement.
But as you said, he won twice.

Take it into consideration the time matching.
