I'm still sorta new, and looking in forums and random stuff, I see that people accuse others for 'spying in their group'.

If you have more than one account and putting your characters in different groups. (So you can plunder yourself instead of others)Why does people call that spying?
I don't understand. Since joining a group, whenever you are active, you give them group contribution points. It is not like you can 'ruin' anything for them... What is there to spy on? I mean...who cares what people write in group chat?

It is normal especially at new server, we had the same issues where the other group created another account(s) to spy on us especially for Great Ninja War(and its like they knew the formation. I mean, 1 or 2 times is okay, but they keep know everything about our line up. Even if you did not do that. It is not easy to trust each other, so we had to kick other low players and now we always win the war. So I do not think it is a good idea to have multiple accounts unless you are prepared to get accused, that is just my 2 cent :lol

How about not being online on the side account during the events. Doesn't it solve the 'spying' issue? xd

It's not just about GNW, when your second character in their group you will see their conversation and group members tend to share guide, information about game with each others. Knowing information is the biggest advantage in this game beside money and trust me no one want to give their enemy information and share that advantage with them, that's why.
Same case with me, I keep crucial information for members within the group. I also kick all members who leak the information I gave them if I find out they're leaking it to their friends outside the group.
This helped us, a group with just a few players won against the biggest group with all spenders in it many times
So yea it's common sense if people find out a "spy" from other groups, that "spy" should be kick asap.

For GNW there is the white list
For info let's face it any info we can give u can look up on form
So I say this is a problem in only new servers where the more experienced players can get a advantage and can share the advantage with the noobs(advantage early game = info) I mean let us take s1 as a eg. Any one who plays on s1 and has reached over 80 ish (of 80ish on other servers counts too) will be/she need the info u can give? I think not.

And besides it is not possible too harm a group unless that person is higher than any even then he/she can only mess up.the use of funds that is what is up ed first and summon catching time.
So yes I don't get why so many people complain.

Anyone who want can look up guides online. It is basically game knowledge. And I don't have a problem with people sharing game knowledge. xd
It is not like there's this 'group secret' or something..

1. GNW, while there is white list you can still see your own exact position, which given knowledge of how the group usually works might give something away. This can be compounded if there are multiple spies. Furthermore, they would be able to tell exactly which top powers of the group are on, while this can be done via friend list examination, it might not always be possible and certainly would be harder that way.

2. Plunder, in addition to self plunder, you could also give away info on when others are convoying and have the main or others in your real group plunder them. You might even be able to, from chat etc, know who is supporting the convoy and therefore pass forward that information as well.

3. I can personally do 12% damage to my group summon in one hit, I'm sure there are people who can do more, but the point is that I'm ftp. While usually spy won't grow as strong as me, they CAN still do significant damage. When the point of group summon is to get as many different people tapping it as possible, usually holding off killing until the last 5-10 minute, spies who triple tap to kill it early can be disruptive.

Those are just what's off the top of my head.

Since the introduction of white list, spying is not nearly as bad as it used to be. That doesn't mean, however, it can't negatively impact the group at all. Thou I have to say a lot of the current sentiment came from the old days when spying literally cost you wars.

What about info you don't have on forum or there is no youtuber cover it yet from cn version? I'm not talking about just current game guide, I believe I already mastered the current version and most of info on forum are useless to me now. That time when I was a noob and need to looking up forum for info was over long ago, now I go and get info myself from other versions like CN server.
Knowing info will let you know which to save up or make plan to manage your resource, for example the cave key rebate. Anyone who has their hand on that info didn't spent their keys before it happen because they know key rebate is a thing. Just take a look on forum, there are many people that are active on forum but still used their keys regardless before that happened. This post was last edited by Kouka at 2017-2-25 12:16

Main issue is probably GNW, especially on less populated servers. Back when my server still had gnw, the enemy team would avoid me every time. When the white list came about, and I disabled it on all low levels; all of a sudden I'm getting fights in gnw.
