At one point the mods said that he, along with paradise shikamaru, will no longer be obtainable (granted it did come back in an event AFTER that), no reason was ever mentioned but it can potentially be a copyright issue and/or the owner of the source material does not want non-canon character to be included in the game (those being from a AU movie/filler episode and may or may not be considered part of canon)

sadly this might impact the alt-hinata.... I really wanted to see her....
