Hi!Ok im a lvl 79 player wiht 31k BP matsuri just started and wanted to test out this cross server thing .... but the thing is i got lvl 82-85 ppl match up againts me whit 38k 40k power . thought this thing should be balanced but as i see it its kinda not ... tell me if this is not a bug how the heck am i supposed to beat them ? And one more thing after i was beaten by the last player whit 38k power and the one after that whit 34k power i still get a player whit lvl 34k power and lvl 82 how in the heck is this balanced tell me pls i really want to know :|

Xserver is supposed to make it balanced OVERALL. Now ideally this means every SINGLE fight should be balanced, but likely due to the small Queue pool* at any given time, that's likely impossible. The next best thing is, therefore, give each player a mix of overpowered, under-powered and equal opponents, where on the OVERALL scheme of things, the first two cancel out and result in a balance in term of wins whereas the last determines the outcome based on your own abilities.

So having some vastly over powered opponent does not immediately make it unfair.

Unfortunately, masuri isn't pulling off the "overall" balanced bit. I rarely have a balanced mix of overpowered and underpowered opponent, and the equal component is too small (only 1 or 2 usually) for it to actually truly dependent on my own abilities. That said however, there is almost always a mix of them, so it's not nearly as bad as some people make it out to be. And as one of the top 5-10 PvP player of my server, I have to say that it is far more balanced than me steam rolling through the event against mostly weaker opponents, so Xserver, while reducing my reward sometimes(since I otherwise get all 5s), is good for the game despite its imperfections.


*only a small fraction of total player play it at any single given time, given the large time window, and most of those are already fighting and not in queue. I won't expect more than 20 players in queue at any given time

i have a suggestion , since matsuri is not always balanced , how about giving us 300 revival potion every week (that means one free revive per event)it's so hard to come by those , even black market sells 10 of those , as for instances only one and not always

this is the solid solution to unfair matchmaking in matsuri

just some things to put out there to make things clear, once you started your que in matsuri the event itself will search for someone who is close/similar to your power for 60 seconds. after that time frame it will match you with a random player that is in que. the problem why you still get match with other people who is far away from your battle power is because of the wait time. even thou your timer just started if someone else's timer get past 60 seconds he can be matched with you.

so a simple solution is instead of getting matched with a completely random person after the 60 second mark just make it so that you get match with other people who has also exceeded the 60second time frame. this way players who are desperate to get matched with someone who is close to his power can just refresh their que before it reaches 60 seconds.

I would guess you are wrong. Now I won't be sure since I have never done this in masuri, but in arena, both side had to exceed the time limit before the anyone-match thing kicked in there(in training mode btw).

But of course, masuri could be different from arena, I won't know for sure unless I get to peek under the hood. But I see no reason why they would make it different.
