Sorry for digging up something this old, and pre 2.0 meta. But would replacing Kakashi with GNW TenTen be better in the situation where you don't have Iruka or WB Asuma. With GNW TenTen, the combos are highly, though I'm not sure if her Mystery can be cast with the amount of Chakra available throughout the fight which doesn't compromise other members' mysteries.

You c*e tenten (she is not bad in this situation) but i would recommend you using kakashi for 3 reasons.

#1: kakashi's mystery has 20 chakra cost, and that alows him to use it 2 times in the fight.

#2: kakashi is a lightning ninja, and can get buff from sasuke and your main.

#3: you can 5 star kakashi pretty easy in comparison to gnw tenten.
summary, use kakashi he is pretty good for this, at least until you get WB asuma or iruka.

I haven't tried it, but I was wondering if the following line up would be better if you happen to have Danzo, since he auto casts his barrier.

X - Guy - X
X - MB - Danzo
X - WB Asuma - X

Though I think the Enhancement of Lightning Style is lost on 1 char, and Danzo's Standard attack isn't possibly as strong as Sasuke. Of course, I think if there's a Darui, it would be a no brainer to replace Sasuke.

Actually Sasuke is the best dps still, the other 2 are only higher dps if you retreat when the barrier run out and revive with coupons. But Danzo/Darui work on auto and they are only a little worse then Sasuke so most people switch to them unless they are really trying for it.

What about replacing Guy with Iruka, so you have both Iruka and WB Asuma along with Sasuke and MB.

Since the thread seem to mention either Iruka or WB Asuma while not both at the same time.

Guy is a lightning ninja, and gets buff from sasuke and lightning main, he also has a buff of 30% attack for everyone, if you replace him with iruka/WB asuma you will be wasting these 2 buff and dealing less damage.

So yeah use either iruka or WB Asuma (asuma is better for the double lightning armor).

I think barrier have 3 round n 9tails have 4 round but Darui still better than Sasuke IMO.
