Several things:
1) Kakashi has a clone to absorb a hit
2) Refining stats give you plenty of crit chance because Kyuubi is level 18 (i crit every single attack)
3) Kakashi deals elemental damage on both his jutsu and autoattack, which Kyuubi is weak to, and gets buffed like crazy by your main and Sasuke which Tenten would not
When your team is dealing 210% damage, the 20% vulnerability on the fox simulates a 42% increase in damage. Making elemental damage the BIGGEST buff to your damage of all. Luckily three of your ninjas use it on all their attacks an Gai is just Gai and OP as heck when it comes to damage.
~~ Awesome guide, I use the exact same team and talents. You actually refined the rotation and setup even better than I usually do it so thank you for improving my damage! Every little bit counts.
Only thing I will add is that once you get access to Asuma the Wind Blade he makes a perfect replacement for Gai. For one thing, he does elemental damage so he keeps up with damage. But better yet he buffs all ninja with full health by 40%. His jutsu deals elemental damage so it hits much harder than Gai's and the best part of all is that he gives you 20 extra starting chakra so you can pull off Sasuke's buff plus Midnight Blade's Lightning armor in the same turn. Which will give you a SECOND Lightning Armor later.
Wind blade Asuma does very low damage, so its actually quite shaky pick.
+He gives 20 chakra. Not all comps can make advantage of that, but elec does. His armor gives 2 additional attacks and thats quite decent increase.
+He buffs both tai/nin and all our team contains that.
-His buff works only with full hp. For example, when fox hits aoe its very often not enough to recover hp for asuma back even with guy`s leech. So its ~1,5 rounds without any buff and also we have to use clon/clones in front.
-His damage is very low. In ~3 times lower with ordinary attack than main, either his mistery in ~2x. In other words if main does 10k then with 10 attacks its 100k damage and asuma ll do 3,3k*4+5k = 18,2k. You can see its absoultely low. -
