Before Xserver, every server had a handful that always wins.
After Xserver, only a handful between ALL server (of each region) would always win.

I'd say overall it's better.
While not THE top power of my server, I am roughly the 4th to 7th, and my server is fairly populated and active. This meant I almost always won 5 w/o Xserver. Now, I have to work for it, almost ever masuri my fate is ultimately decided by the 1 or 2 fair fight I get (with rest being a slaughter one direction or the other). Can it be better? Sure. But it is certainly already better than w/o Xserver.

I wonder how many people complaining about masuri are the top power of their server, just hurt now that they can actually lose.

  • Im at the top of my server, i keep getting all 5 wins in every single matsuri, and still i find it a * joke when i get someone with 36k+ power than me and then a level 63 with 30k- than me. So that argument is kinda of * and they should improve the matchmaking, period.
The only way to improve match making is to make it longer, which I can accept personally but not sure about others.

The thing we need to realize is just how few people are Qing at the same time. Between the fact that people do it at different time within the event (the 3 hour limit is SOOOOO not helping, spread people too thin), the fact that we are in the very least segregated by region so it's not 300 servers but more like 50-100 in each, and the fact that the people who are fighting at same time as you are mostly doing the fighting part instead of the Qing part, frankly at any given moment there probably wont even be a dozen people Qing, and given the power spread of players, close match are going to be rare.

Increasing the Q time will increase the ratio of Qing vs fighting player for the active participating player pool of any given period of time, and therefore allow a bigger waiting Q pool, and thus better match making. Increase it to say 2 min on average will probably increased the matching pool by at least 5 times.
But I'm not sure how people will feel about waiting a total of 8 to 16 extra minute total in Q, I have no problem with that but some might not like it.

  • Matsuri would be perfectly fair if they introduce one simple string of code that says: if you retreat against somebody 10k+ higher pow than you or if you get wiped out in less than 3 rounds by somebody 10k+ higher pow than you then you don't lose any ninja.
anyone reasonable strong (say lv 80+) would probably get 5 wins easy that way. They'll get like 3-5 fights where they retreat etc and doesn't lose any ninja, 1-3 fair fight to fight out that doesn't even matter, and 3-5 fights where they can win easy due to 10k+ difference the other way(enemy retreat or whatever)
