Personally I use the Lightning Armor for ranked. It has the potential to devastate your opponent's side of the field when combined with Bloodthirsty.

The general advice I can offer is regarding the tanks. Neji, Hinata, and Gaara are the typical tanks brought for Ranked because they can't easily be comboed 1st turn. They will protect your squishy ninjas for a short while.
