Sai - very useful for Strong Approaching: Hanzo
Uchiha Itachi - rarely seen, mostly with high chakra usage teams
Anko - Fire Main's world boss team
Tayuya - Strong Approaching: Hidan
Shino - Great Ninja War one is great for survival/ranked. Normal is not that good ;p
Jiraiya - If Sage does everything better, why bother?
Ukon Sakon - I actually see people early game use them, as the damage dealer character
Ino - Ninja Exams
Shikamaru - Ninja Exams
Choji - good early game tank, great ninja war one is even better, and at least viable for later game
Zabuza - Water/Lightning main only, because of his mystery having a major drawback
Haku - Water Main's World Boss

:)

  • Being able to take down passive barriers is huge, especially in RB. Itachi is very underrated IMO.
I don't like Itachi's barrier, because in RB and GNW, it only gives chakra to it's own team. It doesn't share with anyone else, which makes the barrier really supbar compared to others

  • You want to run the barrier to take down the opponent's passive one (if necessary). The only other mystery barrier that might be used is Sasuke (or maybe Gaara I guess), so it doesn't matter if Itachi has his barrier up.

The exception obviously is Hashi, but if you're running Hashi, you don't need an Itachi haha.
What I meant is that Haku might even be a better choice than Itachi, if you run a lot of water ninjas in team. Anko, Sasuke, Gaara, Yamato, Haku, and ofc Hashi are all better than Itachi, at least barrierwise
