I don't remember exactly what it was, but I thought I remembered hearing somewhere that if you waited two minutes before leaving group headquarters you could avoid plunderers?

Also, if you refreshed as you were getting plundered (or the battle was loading and you have slow internet), would you lose anything? I know that you would keep the mission, but would it count as an automatic loss if the battle never even begins?

It would be dishonorable to do such a thing, but... if no one accepts your support application, and you're dirt poor, and then someone many levels higher than you attacked, would it be that bad to want to keep your money?

I was plundered by someone about 13 levels higher than me (and double my power level) but his internet was crap so I kept winning by default... and then I was not afk and booked it...

  • I can't answer your first question since I never do convoy. A friend told me tho that if you leave at the last minute before convoy time ends you can avoid plunderers and continue the mission as long as you have claimed it already.

If you refresh while plunder is ongoing you would lose the rewards naturally as if you retreated from battle. I think the same is true if the battle is still loading and you have slow connection, cause I sometimes lose my plunder rewards because of that :curse:

Nothing is bad with wanting to keep your money. If your group mates refuse to support you then maybe you should consider changing groups ;P

The plunder level gap is 15. Meaning if the plunderer is 15 levels above you he cannot see you on his plunder list and consequently cannot plunder you.
I think that first one is only because when you go late it's more likely that plunderers have already completed all of their missions. I guess if you wanted to avoid them you could go in the middle of the day, when people are out at their jobs or at school... but the same would also be true for you...

Haha, it's not that my group members refuse to support me- It's that there are none, haha! Well, not exactly true, but apparently 4 months ago they decided to disband the group or something since so many people never logged on anymore. The group still exists, and all those people who never log on are still in it. I joined 3 months ago, not knowing any of this went down, and thinking I'd be barred from the stronger groups, joined the weakest of the strong- my current group.

I like to call it a 'coral reef' group, but it really does feel like home so I'm working to get group skills level 7. I'm getting weaker for my level everyday, but at the same time... I can't just abandon it. Pretty much the only one who donates though...

  • Yeah pretty much patching a sinking ship trying to prop up a dead group, since you cant even register for GNW or get packs. At least join an active smaller group if you're able to, and TBH even the "strong" groups have slots for active players that are willing to learn/contribute, as long as you have the right attitude. Not every strong group is elitist haha.

With regards to plunders, without support just run your SS during events (save your 2 refreshes for this window), particularly sage and 9 tails events where you missing a min wont make a difference to your score. GNW is a good time too but a strong group might get a walkover or quick whitewash making this riskier.
We just got enough points to make it into GNW; It's nice that you get stuff just for participation :)

It's true that some of the larger groups are accepting of weaker players, in fact I got an offer to join the third strongest group. Was seriously considering it, but... I dunno. I wanted to * by my group (Also I got promoted to senior. Not that there are any special benefits that I know of, but it's kinda nice.)

I've only actually gotten plundered twice. Still not strong enough to be considered a prime target.

Thank you for the advice.
