1＃ Go ToHello, im a relatively new naruto player. Im playing enjoying the game now since around 3-4 weeks and im playing at a new server (300+) and i already invested some money too cause i like the game very much.
1. Matsuri and Arena Cross
There is none at my server, we only get opponents from our server and since the 2.0 update this takes even longer than before. What happened to the cross thing and why are the queues now longer than before?
2. Server merging
I am glad that there is such a feature after i heard how much server this game has and how much server are opening every week (10 server a week? thats min *ing). But i have seen much people complaining about, that the server merges take months and that the old servers die cause of this.
Is that true?
3. Server opening
What can i say to this, it´s understandable that this brings much money but long term its just no fun for us players. I recognized it the last 2 weeks. In the beginning of our server it was very fun, new guilds arised, new players came, action in the world chat, action in the arena. It was so nice. But now there arent any new players anymore all is consistent. After 3 weeks the groups dont change anymore, near nobody talks in the world chat, only per pm and in group chat, 30 mins per arena match, you know everybody at the server, you know who wins and who looses... it got a bit boring. And this after 3 weeks. This is very sadly cause it could make so much fun if the server would be filled.
Are the developers aware of this problems and more important are they aware of it and wanna change it or do they just focus at new servers and don´t give very much attention to the old ones?
What is fact about this all now and what is rumor? I would be very thankful if somebody could answer me that.
This game is so nice, and to play at a filled server where everyday new people join would be amazing.

Also speaking from experience, I left the game 3 months ago, give or take, and I've just come back and I see the same people in the server after we were supposed to receive a server merge the week I left. Having just come back and seeing the same people, no server merge and the same things, apart from the 2.0 update which is decent but not spectacular, is quite disappointing. They shouldn't be bringing out new servers everyday, instead concentrate on the servers that are there and develo them instead. -

If you are a new player, do you want to join an old server? The same answer apply for every new player. People want to be at the top, so they join new server. People who failed to become the top either stay casual and become punching bag or jump to another server with hope they can be a winner.
This is how this game designed, all good rewards stay behind ranking walls which involve pvp content.
If you join an old server after few days, weeks or months the chance you gonna stay at the bottom forever is pretty high unless you pay * load of money to catch up and not everyone can affort to pay thousands of USD into a game.
So it's depend on each person, if you want a very competitive server and have money to spend. Go ahead and pick old server, none bat an eye. But if you choose the new one then prepare for the huge players drop after few weeks. -

Honestly, an idea I'd throw in which will probably never happen, is that you merge servers at seperate times. (Did I word that right?)
Example: Let's say Server A and Server B merge. Anyone from B who joins a clan from A is safe. Then after a little while, anyone that wasn't in a Server A clan who is from Server B will get seperated back into Server B. Then A merges with a third one, Server C. Then rinse and repeat. It'd be a nice way for people to meet other people rather than stay with the same old faces as LegendaryUchiha said. -
