1＃ Go ToAgain a situation on my server of the rank 1 and 2 qualifying teams fighting each other before the finals, while the rank 3 team gets a bye and automatic minimum of 2nd place in the tournament. Please fix this as its crap to beat a team in the qualifiers only to have them get an automatic second place, while the 1st and 2nd ranked teams have to fight eachother to see who gets into the finals. Rank 1 team should not be on the same side of the board as the rank 2 team. Ranks 3 and below should be placed randomly on the board afterwards.See picture below rank 3 team - sixpathsages get a free pass to finals (team akatsuki is not an active team), while rank 1 amaterasu and rank 2 draconic have to fight in the semi finals.

- Then there shouldn't be qualifiers, the strongest and second strongest should always be rank 1 and 2, why should a less strong team or an inactive team get a free 2nd place?
Qualifiers are for when there are more groups than the tournament can hold, which only happens at start of server where there are more people and groups are smaller(due to low level).... I'm not entirely sure if ANY server older than a month (or any server at all now days, new server are having less and less ppl....) actually have more than 8 now (or 16?? 2.0 mentioned something about expanding tournament...)
That said, I do think more fair bracketing are needed, at end of the day, groups should be ranked on their capabilities instead of depending on RNG. Right now, only 1st places are guranteed to be "correct" -

But yeah, We still get around 14 or so that join.
For your example imagine the finals bracket had all 4 of those top 4 teams on one side of the bracket and the smaller teams were all on the other such that the top four teams could only earn 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th and it kept happening every week. -

The qualifiers are a point system,thast why in previous threads in group that people were saying they would lose on purpose to have better placements. There are lots of flaws in the game but having 1-2 fightning each other is fine why would 1st have to have a easy way more then others? becasue they have the most p2w players and recruited or moerged with other group to be at the top? If they want to be at the top then they can just keep fighting with no hard time but for others u want to avoid that wich is completely fine -

In some servers not always the stronger group wins, sometimes they get surprised by strats, this week, a smaller group won purely by strategy, which surprised me, other than that, i find hilarious one of the groups is desperate to beat their rivals, to the point of poaching some members of my group that im in. -

I agree that the GNW bracket is kinda poor. Imo it should be random but it does appear to have the system that the top two scores from qualifying round will fight each other in round 2. While the 3rd place gets an EZ pass to the finals. Of course one just has to aim for 3rd but that sort of thing is unnecessary when it could just be 100% random instead of how it is now. -

The problem isn't first group getting 1st, the problem is then second group who can win all groups but the first can end up out very early on and not even be in top 4. Even though they win the other 3 groups in top 4 100% of time. -

This is true, we need a better bracket. 1st and 2nd group in qualify should not meet each other until final. If other groups want 2nd place? Then step up and fight, not to rely on this unfair system.
I'm currently running a group myself and we have to lose on purpose in every Wednesday just to have 3 fights in final. Also other weaker groups begin to copy my strag and start throwing too, it's started to feel annoying.
Hope they change this system all together with the new 2.0 GNW update. -

This nearly happened once before, 3 of our 4 top groups were on the same side of the bracket. -
