Let's bring some life into the plot category!

What is your favorite duel within the Naruto series? For now I'll be focusing on Naruto (and not Shippuden)

For me personally I got two battles I'm incredibly fond of:

Naruto versus Kabuto is one of my favorite fights, partly because it's the first time we seen that Rasengan in action, not to mention the one moment where he intercepts a * aimed at Tsunade with his head and doesn't even flinch...

However, one fight that will always remain one of my all-time favoites:

Gaara vs Lee, likely the reason I keep finding the Chuunin arc an awesome arc to rewatch. When Gaara was first introduced I had this thought of 'oh gods no, yet another overpowered character who Naruto can only hope to challenge if he gains a power-up' but then Lee drops his weights and proceeds to show us what a badass you can be with only Taijutsu. Bruce would have been proud~

I'll have to go with Shikamaru vs Temari as my favorite one as it was something that I liked that there was a character that didn't try to overwhelm his/her enemies with purely power. It truly showcased Shikamaru's skills even though he didn't win (which I was glad when he became chuunin because of it). Plus... shikamaru theme was bae.

I would say definitely Rock Lee vs Gaara is my all time favorite from the original series but if I'm going to be different, I would have to say the first fight between Zabuza and Kakashi.

Because that is the first time we see Kakashi's "Ability" We learn of his alias as the Copycat Ninja and in my head I always remember Sasuke looking at Kakashi when he finds out he has the Sharingan.

Chouji's was my second fav. *erfly Chouji gave me shivers and I actually thought he was going to die at the time, was so sad. Looked like the show was about to end with all the possible deaths. Then again, I was a young child at the time v-v

Oh my God, yes that slipped my mind. Chouji's battle was gut wrenching, how could I forget about it? I love Chouji and the Akimichi clan has always had a place in my heart.

Personally liked the fight between Hinata and Neji as it was among the first time she has ever come out of her shell and prove how strong she can be, she gave the fight her all, and even coughing up blood didn't keep her from going down, simply amazing.

There was a lot of development in fights like that in pre-shippuuden, I just like p.much any fight that develops a character.

The fate one-slave vs the fate one-choosen

No one can believe how far this battle give me a good feeling after watch it!

Not Shippuden? Well... I think Sasuke vs (female) Orochimaru, Rock Lee vs Gaara and Hiruzen vs Orochimaru. Also I love the fight between Rock Lee, Gaara and Kimimaro. i'll say i agree with u my friends about rock lee vs garaa it was incredible whn unlocking the inner eight gates + lotus skill and i'll say i loved the fight betwen naruto and sasuke at valley and there is more that i like watch more than 5times a day . Tnx :)

The Final Valley with Sasuke & Naruto was pretty epic & sad.
