There is no downside for being a wanted individual (red name). Those that attack you and win just receive coins as a reward and if you win you get coins. You don't loose anything at all.
The red name is just an after effect of you having succesfully plundered someone else in the first place ;P

Oh my bad then. I thought you just got coins as a reward lol. But yeah trading 50~150k coins for 50~150 coupons is a no brainer :D
