Imbue your tools with elements. If you match two elements together, like lets say that book gets earth in the right spot so that it is an earth-earth link, you'll get a % boost to an attribute for all ninja tools. If that book gets a different element lets say fire, there will be a non-matched link that will give a flat boost to those ninja tools (like +5 attack)
