• not if you already have enough such that even if you buy on every refresh, you still wont run out by the time it get to 5 star. This can happen for the survival one if it's priced at 1500/5 @2 refresh/day. I have enough personally, considering additional daily income, to go at it for 40 days, and it only takes 38 days to 5 star it.
  
  ranked is a different matter, I don't have much of those stashed due to various reasons. ptw will have a much bigger stash than I do, I wonder if 5 star ASAP is possible for them on that.....
