• There are 3 things that take precedence about who attack first.
  1. Prompt Skill
  No matter if u are faster n have 1st movement of the enemy, if u dont have prompt skill then the enemy will attack first.
  2. Movement
  If u have prompt skill then u must have movement 1. No matter if u have prompt skill n great initiative but u are in 2nd movement, enemies who were in the 1st movement will attack first.
  3. Initiative
  If u have condition number 1 n 2, increase your speed then u will be faster of the enemy.
  But in the case of arena n trial, many ppl argue initiative will be ac*ulate from team but i doubt it.

• i try to explain it as simple as i can, cause when i first noticed it i also didnt quite get how initiative works and i think i still dont know everything about it.
  
  But here is what i know:
  
  1. the Position your Character is in.
  There are 4 positions they decide what ninja acts first
  2. the Mystery skill
  if it is a Prompt skill it will be used before the standard attack.
  if not it will be used when that ninja gets to attack.
  3. The initative finaly comes into play
  
  So lets take my team for example the team i use what is :
  Guy Main Mifune
  *X Kimimaro *X
  *X *X *X
  
  and i what to use guy as example on the oponents Sage Naruto When my opponent has this linup:
  Main Tobi *X
  Iruka Sage *X
  *X *X *X
  
  In this example i will never be able to interupt Sage Naruto cause he is on Position 2 and i am on Position 4, His Prompt will allways be cast before mine.
  
  BUT: Lets change the Mystery we use.
  
  For this example i use Mifune and He Uses Tobi
  
  So both have a Prompt and both are on position 1
  My Mifune has a pritty high initiative of 2217
  My Opponents Tobi has initiative of 2000
  
  in this example my Mifunes mystery will go off before Tobis mystery.
  
  So now how do we get initiative and how can w e increase it ?
  Without anything your Ninjas have 0 initiative !
  The Battle armor gives us some initiative ( lvl 3 Battle armor gives 67 i think )
  Then the equipment your ninja is wearing gives you some ... you can increase that via refining and purifying. ( for example something refined to lvl 8 gives you 315 initiative +X% purification )
  Then you can get some more Via eight inner gates.
  
  so to put it simple ...
  If 2 Ninjas on the same position use a mystery or attack ... the one that has the highest initiative on That Ninja will Act first ... if they are on different positions, the one with the lower position will act first ( pos 1 before pos 2)
  
  and one more thing:
  When Passive barriers come into play ... the initiative on everyone gets added together and the one with the higher "team initiative" will get the barrier
  
  I hope this helps a bit in understanding it ...if anyone knows more about it ... i would love to know :)
