I have a few issues with the Sign-In reward this month. The first of them being, alot of people were under the impression that they would continue with the theme of GNW ninja being the sign in reward until we got them. I'm not saying it is wrong to stray away from that, but it was that belief that lead alot of people to be excited and look forward to the next month. To break from that impression wasn't the worst... to top it off, they gave us a lack luster ninja instead.

Talking about lack luster ninja.... If they wanted to give an older ninja, why not Shizune? I personally like her, but alot of people consider her useless, or as lack luster as Sannin War Jiraiya. But the biggest reason to ask this question is the fact that Shizune can't be gotten/farmed outside of the Seal Treasure. Some would call her common, but the fact remains that there are people out there with out her, even though they have been playing since launch.

But the last issue I have with him, is my biggest. Why only 80 frags? Most of the players will already have him 3 stared (as that is the level you unlock him at for free for just playing the game), and those that don't have him will shortly. So why not atleast Reward them with that 4th star? Why give us 80 frags that will do nothing bet tempt us to waste atleast 200 stamina and another 10 days of grinding (most likely way more)? I wouldn't have as much heart burn over this months reward if it were not for the fact that I will not get another ninja or star out of it with out using resources I'm currently using to star better ninja or ninja gear.

Someone in the other thread said it best: "The point of the Sign-In rewards is to encourage/excite players into logging on each day". I feel that this months reward doesn't do that. I've Hated missing days before, because I wanted to get every frag of the GNW ninja that was offered each month. Mainly due to the fact it was the only free way to get them at the time. It helped that I found most GNW ninja good enough, that I wanted each star I could get for them. This month doesn't do that. If for some reason I missed a day this month, I wouldn't feel bad at all.... and I find that sad.

Learn to appreciate guys. 2.0 is coming you should be thankful because of that game will be more interesting. They give good events from 2016 so no need to get mad about getting Sannin Jiraiya as long as the game is progressing

Honestly I don't mind having Jiraiya for sign-in reward. I just consider it a big boost towards getting him 5*.

Though I will make a point to start farming Oro and Tsuande Sanin frags, just in case it turns out that they are next months nins.

Just want 4 Starz Jiraiya

Still useful with the right team. Plus we haven't gotten Sai yet but they can't put him in there since they started using him as a 50$ ninja...

All I'm asking for is for someone useful. GNW Kiba is very useful and same goes for GNW Choji. Choji is a beast and it's the buffed one from China but Jiriaya hasn't beeen used since launch. I currently have Jiriaya sitting at lvl 1 uncultivated, bringing him up to 4 stars would not do me any justice and it would be a waste of stamina. I wouldn't mind getting Kimimaro frags because he is extremely useful. I'm not expecting it get Konan as a sign in reward but i'm expecting someone that would keep me playing the game . As a free player I know I have to work to get those good rare ninja but Jiriaya as a sign in reward is not worth me putting in the time. It doesn't boost me up to look forward to a useful ninja at the month, but now i'm looking toward the end of the month like wtf is this crap. You give out events that only p2w players would get rare ninja but us free players are waiting for the end of the month for that new ninja that can be useful to us but now we are getting a ninja that we already have and on top of that most of those frags can be found doing survival every day. I have gotten asuma , baki, zabuza, suigetsu to 5 stars for doing survival because it gave me their frags.

i actually like this, get jiraya to 5star faster and he's beast when book upgrade hits anyway, win win for me, screw u guys

Trolling? You just made up a rule that they are gonna cycle GNW ninjas, nobody ever said they would. Just fyi China had Haku, just normal one not reanimated for sign in ninja in prev month.

Haku + they gave out her skill books in the sign in, big difference between one of the worst ninja in our version and a skill book ninja with books given out in the login as well.

Was on Scion's stream and apparently the three sannins have been monthly sign ins before on another region . .so yeah . .

BUT apparently Six tails and two tails have also been monthly sign ins before. . . so we have hope XD

It doesn't matter if it's a dupe, they're giving you 80 frags to get closer to a 4 or 5 star Jiraya

If you already have him 5 starred then you can refine them for points, or for other ninja frags/seal scrolls/summons. If you do some research you can find out how upgrading ninja stars will help you out in future updates.

I understand why there may be some disappointment but the amount of people that are crying over this and throwing tantrums is ridiculous. There are far too many people being disrespectful and throwing irrelevant insults at the mods and devs.

They are listening, they communicate with the community often and they are working on the betterment of the game. Plus you get a bunch of free * this month and yet people continue to complain and act like they are entitled to more things than they are.

The fact of the matter is that Jiraya IS the monthly ninja for January 2017. You may be disappointed and you are definitely not alone in that, you can give your feedback, and there are already massive threads discussing this.

Look forward to future updates and future ninjas. This month's ninja isn't going to set the bar for this year. 2.0 is coming out very soon and with that comes a handful of new ninja and free stuff.

We'll get some good ones and some bad ones.
