5 Ranked battles a day would mean you get 5 coupons a day. Sure if you're gonna play a few thousand ranks battles then you make more coupons, but by then, im sure you wouldn't need them anymore. Game would probably die down too.

Since you only get coupons from beating your previous record, his way guarantees a "NEW RECORD" and if he were to jump 2 ranks at a time for about 400 times, he would have 400 coupons instead of jumping 800 at once, only to gain 21.
