I like that they made such a nice homepage for the event.....but to be honest, the fact that the event (at least so far) is so horrible, is made even worse by them creating a whole page for it!

Seriously the only thing that could save this event even a tiny little bit would be if some awesome ninja was put into the price reduction thing, and even then it'd only make it good for the few % that are heavy spenders.

What a wasted opportunity...

One thing I'd like to add to my previous post because I forgot to mention it...

Even though this christmas event is REALLY crappy so far, I think people are overreaction quite a bit. People are calling for staff to be fired and nonsense like that. I mean really? Really? The staff of this game is pumping out updates at a rate far higher than any other team has to (as a software tester I know how harsh their speed must be on their team!), heck as far as we know, we might get hit by 2.0 rather sooner than later, and you can imagine how much work that is for them.

So to go nuts and call for people getting fired, just because the virtual rewards in an event aren't that great this time is overdoing it a bit in my book.

YES they should know that we aren't satisfied with the amount of things we get for our money/coupons/time/support, yes they should be aware that we aren't * and actually able to compare what we get to what the other servers get, and thus feel cheated in comparison. But being rude to them, calling for people to get fired (people with families and stuff you know...) and behavior like that, really shouldn't be the way we use to do it.

So yeah, back to being salty about the event, hoping for a stunning new years event to make up for it, and maybe 2.0 soon? ;-P

Yes I think you are overreacting. Like I said, we are talking about a team that is working their asses off to bring us updates at incredible speed, and just because some of the rewards are too stingy, you are calling for their heads (jobs..). That's what I'd call overreacting.

Like I said, I do agree that the rewards are too stingy, and they have to know we are not happy, but there's that and there's what some people here are doing.

I do have to say I am quite surprised that so many f2p players are complaining about the events being too stingy....do you really think more generous events will benefit f2p players?? All that will do is widen the gap even MORE between f2p and p2w players, cause guess what, if you get more value in your f2p stuff, they'll have to make the p2w content more enticing as a result, else no one would spend money anymore. Just look at Taiwanese servers and stuff, where you can get like 500 coupons for a 1k ingot recharge...how long does a f2p have to farm for 500 coupons?...

As sad as it is, Oasis being so stingy is actually helping to keep the balance to some degree, and giving f2p a chance to stay relatively competitive. At least that's how I see it.

Sorry, but if you don't even take the 10 seconds to read the example as to how they are helping f2p (by not letting the p2w soar into unreachable heights even quicker..) I won't bother explaining even more.

So you think they are doing a crappy job? You do realize that their job isn't "Giving random person xyz exactly what he wants" but rather things like "Updating the game" "Solving Bugs" "Supporting Customers that have technical problems" and stuff like that? And when it comes to updating the game they have done a stellar job so far.

Like I said, the event reward side needs improvement, but this witchhunt that's been starting here is simply going too far, and very childish to be honest.

But anyways, rage on if you really want to rage on so badly, I've said my point, I'm not going to argue with people that act like children who didn't get the big candy they wanted 10 weeks in a row and now want their parents replaced because of it...

And you think if Oasis improves the events and as a result makes spenders like him get even MORE that will help you somehow??? Logic...google it, maybe a Search Engine can help you find it.

Anyways...seems like someone let out the trolls,better hide and wait for the next update to either appease them or send them on a rampaging rage spree...
