I am Midnight Blade by my second favourite main is Azure Fang so sometimes i go on fox with this team.Ninja boosting U with ur element power is basic for me (later U can draw some rare ninja that boosting depending on other ninja characteristics like group or village that he belongs to) ,so Haku is good choice beside his barrier he also hitting hard ,even if he can't kill but this doesnt matter here, next Suigetsu his standard attack is using water element and he hit twice as a swordsman even if his mystery have longer cooldown his attacks make enough dmg, last one is Kisame he and main are bombing fox with Shark Bomb mystery every turn (thx to only 2 rounds cooldown for this awesome attack) and he is stealing chakra by bomb and by every attack so U always have enough energy to hit. More stars they have ,more U get dmg on fox I have them all now on 4* but working on 1more star for that team , I hope it help U .

Ok, thanks! I don't have Kisame yet so I replaced him with zabuza and it seemed to work just fine.

The water boost is quite powerful, use water ninja and double attackers if possible.

Recommended Ninja include:
TenTen (must have)
Suigetsu (must have)
Zabuza (7swords ver. preferable)
Guy (if none of the above are available)

If you have Iruka use him, his passive bonuses and 10 hit chase are too useful for the event.

I use Guy, Sai, Kakashi and the chameleon summon for the time being with my AF. I'm at level 65, and I deal a 0.09% damage every round without buff (so if you get higher than that you're free to ignore this all completely :P). Not sure if that's average damage for a level 65 but I like how it works.

According to your ninjas, like others recommended, use water element ninjas like Suigetsu and Kisame to make use of AF's water boost passive. I'd advise against using Zabuza though, unless you're planning on never activating his mystery. It's a waste of potential damage to me, but if it doesn't bother you, it's fine :D

Try obtaining the chameleon summon or any other summon that chases hit combo. Other summons won't work here.

Every nine tail team have some kind of basic formations.. Like a barrier ninja and those who does good dmg (preferably elemental)..

As others suggested before.. You should get Haku (His barrier and passive makes him too good), Suigetsu (Double standard which is elemental, mystery also is elemental)..
For the 4th ninja, I think if you have gnw tenten, she would be best..
Otherwise, you c*e Guy(Tai boost and good dmg), Kisame (Good dmg, elemtal mystery)..
Using iruka is kind of a waste here, since his passive only buff konoha ninja so Haku/suigetsu doesn't get any buff.. Iruka works best with fire mains.

Gnw tenten is great for nine tail lineup(even more so for water mains). She gives crit boost in first 2 rounds, have a 10-hit chase(elemental) which does certain crit hit, mystery is elemental, and she is a water ninja so get boost from Haku and maybe from AF's passive too. Water enhancement passive on your main only effect 3 water ninja in team. I think it's random about who gets buff, but if gnw tenten is buffed, that'd be great.
If you don't have gnw tenten, try to get her if possible. Last time she was in event, it cost about 700 coupons for 2 star gnw tenten(which is all you need).

PS.- Use tonton as summon for nine tail, does bonus dmg to Kyuubi. For me, at lvl 85, 36k power - tonton does about 30k dmg if it's a crit hit.
